We become more tolerant on our parents when we realize they're not gona live forever... same thing with our relationships, when someone promises us their forever it should not be the reason to be comfortable. We must strive and do our best to make sure that our partner doesn't feel neglected. We can't always provide the same assurance everytime but we must never cease to try our best.
