Perhaps it could be a title of a new book. Dan Brown's description of Manila as the "gates of hell" received different reactions from overly sensitive Filipinos. Apparently they got offended, but why be too sensitive about it? Is it a fact that in whole Metro Manila traffic is a way of life already, we have begars on the streets, garbage is almost everywhere, flood, sidewalk vendors, criminals, underage prostitutes are rampant. Now if that is not hell on earth then i don't know what hell is. But regardless of how we view our country it doesn't mean we love it less. It is our home and we should strive to improve it. It is not as if we're not guilty of the same sin. Overly reacting to such a small thing seems to be our way of living already.
I hard to accept the reality that's why they reacted like brushing volcanoes. Partly I agreed on how he compared metro manila to hell because it is an eye opening to all people who can't figure out the whole picture of metro manila.

I saw the new regarding to the reaction of Mayor Estrada he agreed also about it.
